The Firesign Theatre is the BEST comedy troupe out there, that's a given. They've had a long and influential career. Most fans will say that there is no such thing as a bad Firesign Theatre recording. However, some are better than others. Here, we will attempt to bring forth well rounded reviews of these recordings, the great ones AND the not so great ones.

The best Firesign work combines both humor and subversion in equal measure. It makes you laugh at first, but when you think about it later, you realize that what they're on about is no laughing matter. On the surface, it's entertainment, but dig a little deeper and there's plenty to challenge your cherished presumptions. There's something for everyone, but the greatest rewards go to the listener who is patient and willing to take the time to suss out the hidden meanings. It's like an onion with an outer layer that looks like a pearl yet has an M-80 at it's center. It's attractive from the outside, but if you dare to peel back the layers, you'd better be ready to jump out of the way.
This Is the "Benchmark" which, for our purposes, defines the best work of the Firesign Theatre
.

A review site would be of little worth if it was just "Hey this stuff is great, go buy it!". What we attempt to do here is "tell it like it was".  If its great, cool.  If it lacks, it's fair game.
Hope you Enjoy!
