Bongo sez: Kali Yuga is a hindu term for the age just (thankfully) coming to an end, in a system that (more or less) defines human spiritual receptivity as a cyclical function emcompassing multiple thousands of years. In such a system, Kali Yuga is considered the darkest age, which some believe bottomed out about 500 or 600 A.D. As we are now supposedly on the ascendant cusp exiting the age, "watching Kali Yuga pass" is a nicely poignant pun on the times in which we live.
